What to Watch on Netflix this Weekend - April 8, 2016

With Allen Iverson named to the 2016 Basketball Hall of Fame Class on Monday, this was a no-brainer pick for me. The easy pick would be the 30 for 30 ESPN did on Iverson, chronicling his upbringings in Hampton, VA and how one eventful night in a bowling alley almost changed his path to become one of the greatest NBA point guards of all-time, but you've all seen that.

I didn't know this existed though, and I'll definitely be watching myself. This has five stars on Netflix, but honestly it could be all Iverson highlights for its 88 minute duration and I'd be cool with that. Growing up, Iverson was always one of my favorite players. Short in stature myself as well, I could never imitate the Shaqs of the world in my backyard. I couldn't imitate the potent Iverson crossover either, but shit I could try and it was more realistic than me being able to break backboards.

Iverson will always be viewed as one of the greats; if not by critics, by all ballers below the six-foot line. He'll forever be remembered, from his crossover on His Airness, to his "Practice" speech, to how he played every game like his last. Congratulations on the Hall of Fame career, "Answer."
