Lil Sleazy | Meet 36Reezy

Mix a unique sense of fashion, an assortment of drug use, and a talent for igniting crowds through music and you have Catonsville, MD's own Rashid Brown; or, as his growing fan base knows him by, 36Reezy.

Influenced by a number of artists, from Lil Wayne to Gucci Mane, 36Reezy holds the most regard for "Slime Season" rapper Young Thug. "Thug is a true artist in its purest form," he said; "I appreciate that." It's not hard to tell just how much of an influence Thug is to the young Baltimore artist. From an eye for fashion to a glowing stage presence, Reezy comes as the total package not just as an artist, but as a whole persona just like Thug himself.

36Reezy is a part of a new wave of Baltimore artists alongside MIKEYTHA$AVAGE, BILALSQUIAT, BLKBOYTAY, 00Doma, and El Plaga to name a few; all of whom performed at Art Show 2 this past Saturday in Baltimore. "I'm definitely fucking with it, I'm excited," Reezy had to say about the show and the turn out.

Alongside a relationship with other Baltimore artists, Reezy has also formed a connection with Baltimore's own A$AP Ant as well as his DJ, DJ Nick. "They have been showing love ever since I met them niggas, like on some OG big brother shit,” Reezy said. DJ Nick even dropped Reezy's latest single, "Drug Talk."

Even with his growing popularity, Reezy has plans to take himself to the next level this summer. He has an EP with Ova West's own BILALSQUIAT in the works as well as his own solo EP, his first to date.

The Art Show 2 gave a glimpse of the potential Reezy has and the room he has to grow. He plans to go on tour throughout the whole DMV in these upcoming months as well. His stock is rising as he continues to bring an energy and presence matched by few others.
