What to Watch on Netflix this Weekend

For this week's "What to Watch on Netflix this Weekend," I'm sure many of the 90s babies out there can appreciate this one. In 2014, "Boy Meets World" fans were blessed when Disney rebooted the 90s sitcom in what is now "Girl Meets World." I don't watch the show (because I'm 20 years old, why would I be watching Disney Channel?). However, I do know that the show is based around main character Cory Matthwes (Ben Savage) from "Boy Meets World" now raising his daughter with his highschool sweetheart from "Boy Meets World," Topanga Lawrence (Danielle Fishel).

Apparently, somebody in the "Full House" camp was taking notes and we now have a reboot of another 90s sitcom. Even better, you don't have to feel weird being almost a grown adult watching Disney Channel because the series will be available for Netflix users (because the title of this article implies so) as well as anybody freelaoding off their friend's username and password (you know who you are)."Fuller House" brings back all of the main characters from "Full House" except for the Olsen twins for there 13-episode first season set to premiere on Netflix today.

Now widowed D.J. Tanner-Fuller (get it? hilarious) moves into the original house from the "Full House" sitcom to raise her three sons (because her dad had three daughters?) alongside her sister Stephanie and bestfriend Kimmy Gibbler.

Although Hollywood Reporter's Daniel Fienberg said "it's doubtful that there will be a more painful 2016 TV episode than the 'Fuller House' pilot," the 90s baby in me has to hold on to hope that this will actually be decent.
